According to Addy

Addy came to me and handed me something invisible and said "Mom, hold this."
I said "Sure, what is it?"
"It is a fish I stole from the King. He wasn't keeping the commandments so I stole his fish."
"Addy you know stealing from people is not keeping the commandments either?"
"Mommm, I was just teaching him a lesson!!""

After Owen was born Addy says to me "Mom I need a card to write on please."
I said "Ok here's one. Who are you going to write a card to?"
Addy: "To baby Brother, so he can read it when he is bigger."
"Oh, Okay."
After a few minutes of coloring on the inside of the card Addy says "Okay, it's done."
I say "Oh I love it..what does it say?"
Addy: "It says dear baby brother please don't cry, we love you....everyone loves you...love Addy."
I just about cried!


Addy's little friend is moving to California in a day or two. (Las Vegas is a bad place to find friends because they move!!)
The two girls were upstairs playing and Addy says "Mom, Makena has a sad face on."
I said "What did you say to her?"
Addy says "I told her that since she will be living at the beach that a shark is going to eat her."
Me: "Well that is probably why she is sad..it is not very nice to say that to people."
Addy: "Well it's true though..she is going to be eaten by a shark."
Me: "Addy be nice. She will not be eaten by a shark."
Addy: "Well that one guy in the bible gets eaten by a shark."
Me: " No thats a whale."
10 Minutes later I hear this:
Addy looking at Makena: "When you move to California and go to the beach you will be eaten by a whale."
Me: "AHHHH."



Wes's favorite quote from Addy... "Dad, let's get some dessert and watch some football!!!"


While nursing Owen, he started crying a little bit. Addy was in the room with us. She said "Mom, he doesn't like that side, he likes this side better. It has chocolate milk and that is baby brothers favorite."
What can I do but laugh at that one!

Thanksgiving day we were eating dessert and Addy says
"Mom, you have to try this chocolate thing. It is soooo good."
She takes her fork and shoves a piece in my face and I eat it.
Addy says "Doesn't it just melt on your tongue? It is so soft!"
